Cake Goop

These simple and easy tips will keep your cake or sweet bread from sticking to your bundt pan. Every. Single. Time. Use these tips for easy nonstick baking in other pans too!

Ingredients

  • ½ cup all-purpose flour
  • ½ cup vegetable shortening
  • ½ cup oil 99g (vegetable or canola work best)

Instructions

  • In a medium bowl, combine all of the ingredients. Whisk together until smooth.
  • Brush into pan, making sure to get every nook and cranny covered. Bake recipe as directed.
  • After removing baked item from oven, allow it to cool in the pan for exactly 10 minutes before removing from pan to cool completely on a wire rack. 
  • Store Cake Goop in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 months.

  • Cake Goop is my favorite and most successful way to grease bundt pans with great results. Use it for greasing any pan that needs a nonstick coating.
