With electric mixer, beat cream cheese, butter and vanilla until smooth. Gradually mix in powdered sugar. Add just enough milk for desired consistency. Frosting should be a creamy, whipped texture.

*use 8 ounces of cream cheese if you like a rich cream cheese flavor
**use salted or unsalted butter, depending on your preference
Frosting Sweet Rolls while still warm will result in a more glazed topping. Waiting to frost until they have completely cooled will give you a whipped, creamy topping.
Store in refrigerator for up to two weeks or freeze for up to two months. Allow to come to room temperature before frosting.
