Welcome to my kitchen! I’m Heather, a former bakery owner, bread expert, blogger, teacher, food photographer and event organizer. I live in Arizona with my large family and love making them delicious things to eat!
I began baking homemade bread more than 20 years ago! As a young mom, I wanted to feed my family good, healthy bread. I eventually began milling my own flour and fell in love with the process of bread making.
Eventually my hobby turned into a business and I started a home bakery, That Bread Lady. My bakery become hugely popular in my community and I am famous for my Homemade Crescent Dinner Rolls – making more than half a million in my 10-year career as a professional baker!
I have since hung up my apron as a bakery owner to follow another passion – teaching YOU how to make your own homemade bread! Afterall, there’s nothing like the aroma of homemade bread baking in your oven and tasting that first slice!
I’m a strong believer that knowledge is power! In my recipes and classes, you’ll find that my tips, videos and step-by-step pictures will help you become a successful bread maker and baker. Baking is so much fun when you have all the resources to get amazing results!
